Marijuana-Is it As Innocent As it Appears?

Marijuana seems to be on the bottom of the pecking order when it comes to creating a list of dangerous drugs. But can Marijuana use create some nasty side effects and a subsequent addiction?

The debate continues on whether Marijuana is more physically addicting or psychologically addicting. Regardless of who wins, Marijuana can take its toll on the user. One of the main ingredients in grass is THC, a nasty chemical that can actually be stored in the fatty tissue of the user.

An associate of mine told me that his son was called in by his employer for a “random” urine test. Well to his amazement, his son came back positive for pot, and subsequently lost his job, The son claimed he hadn’t smoked in a week, but the urine test picked it up.

Lets face it, in these tough times, the last thing you want to do is lose your job because of Marijuana. If you Know that there is the risk that you could be drug tested. yet you still use Marijuana, then if you ask me, you developed a dependency. Risk taking behavior, is a sure sign of a problem.

Withdrawal symptoms from Marijuana use have been known to be:
anxiety-panic attacks
insomnia
weight loss
nervousness
inability to concentrate
and a host of others

Marijuana isn’t as safe as some make it out to be, and the consequences of smoking it can be not only hazardous to your health, but your employment as well.

Here at Christian Help For Addiction Online we hope and pray that whatever addiction you might be struggling with, it is turned over to God. Admitting at times that we truly are “powerless”, and putting our struggles in Gods hands is the first step toward recovery.

Start to pray, and read your bible daily. It’s one of the best support systems there is.
